The SONY S-Log3 S-Gamut3 Cine to Rec709 Pro LUT pack is designed to help you save time and effort in post production.

This is a set of 17 Pro Grade Technical LUTs which should be applied to LOG Footage ONLY.

This LUT pack work in DaVinci Resolve, FinalCut Pro, and Premier Pro.

When applied to S-Log3 S-Gamut3 Cine footage, it will convert the color space into Rec709 with a simple single click adjustment.

All you have to do is apply the LUT and your footage should be ready to use as is, or you can use one of these base looks to get your image moving toward your creative vision.

These technical LUTs were created paying close attention to keeping Blacks - BLACK, Whites Pollution Free, and Skin Tones True.

Suggested Use:

Please note that these Technical LUTs expect two things.

1. You Nailed Exposure by not clipping any highlights or crushing any dark areas of your image.

2. You Nailed The White Balance or used a tool like a color checker to help you correct the white balance during post production.

Keeping that in mind please follow the suggested use for best results.

In DaVinci Resolve, I would recommend that the first node be used to adjust your exposure and white balance if needed and then add a second node where these technical LUTs will do their work.

In Adobe Premier these LUTs should be added in the first color tab or Layer followed by the necessary (if any) exposure and white balance adjustments.

In FinalCut Pro X these LUTs should be added after the exposure and white balance adjustments for best results.

Q. The saturation is too heavy handed for my taste, how do we fix this?

A. Use the Key Tool in Resolve, or lower the intensity of the LUT to taste or in a way that allow you to tell your story!
